Basic Mediation Training 2017
The Peacemaker Program is offering a Professional Mediation Training in cooperation with Duke Fisher of Learning Laboratories.
This training will provide everything that a participant needs to become a certified mediator in New York State.1 The skills learned are valuable additions to a résumé, and powerful tools in both personal and professional conflicts. Participants will learn how to become effective listeners, communicate better, solve problems, and preserve relationships.
No previous experience is required.
Duke Fisher and Mark W. Leuthauser present entertaining, informative, and engaging trainings using a mixture of reading, lecture, games, role-play, multimedia, and group discussion.

There is no charge for those who commit to at least two years of volunteer service (Volunteer Application required).
Tuition is $350 per person for Professional Development participants who do not wish to commit to a term of volunteer service.
Payment is due by no later than November 16th.
Registration for this training is limited, to ensure quality training and a positive experience. Attendance on all five days is required. Lunch will be provided.

2: Complete a Volunteer Application before registering. Minimum 2 cases annually.
